Who are we:
We are a professional cover band that plays a selection of rock orientated party tunes.
What’s with the name?
After days of thinking, hundreds of text messages, sleepless nights and name changes, we came up with a concept of having a light hearted approach to our title. Sorry to dissappoint but we really don’t have hair like that! We took a comical approach that supports our catch phrase ‘Hair raising rock anthems’ and one thing just lead to another. Rest assured, you will not be entertained by five people sporting those hair cuts!
What type of music do we play?
Cool stuff. Groovy stuff. Toe tappin’ stuff! Think Hot Chocolate, Noiseworks, Van Halen, Kelly Clarkson and Bon Jovi. Think of hot summer night party music! All our music is varied and diverse yet shares one thing in common….It all ROCKS!
Where do we play?
Well anywhere really. Clubs, pubs, parties, weddings and corporate functions. Bad Hair Day is a high energy rock band that plays high energy music, but we can still tailor our music for your function. Acoustic sets are available at weddings during meals and when the lights go down and you want to put your dancing shoes on, we turn up the heat a bit and do what we do best….make great music that gets you dancing!
Can you hear us first?
Sure! You will find a ‘Gig Guide’ tab on the website that will have all upcoming public shows that you can check out and pop in for a listen. The other way is to simply listen to a few of our demo tracks on the music player which is also on this site. If you like what you hear, we would love to hear from you so we can provide the musical entertainment at your function!
